The above explained every tense has a different form i.e Present form, Past form, and future form. Here we will just talk about INDEFINITE TENSE for your convinces.

Negative form They do not go to school They did not go to school They will not go to school
? Interrogative Do They go to school Did They go to school will They go to school
– & ? Negative plus Interrogative Do they not go to school did they not go to school will they not go to school

Note Please remember the above-mentioned rules carefully it will help you to learn English tenses. Here we put forward detail of indefinite Tense. Because a Tense like Present indefinite can be used in three different periods.

Indefinite Tense

A tense uses in different forms i.e different periods such as the present form, the past form, and the future form. Now we explain the indefinite tense thoroughly.

Indefinite Tense in present form= Present Indefinite.

  • In the present indefinite tense, we do not know about the exact action that when it occurs, and where it occurs. for example,
  • ( 1. He goes to school. 2. she cooks 3.she watches the move.
  • They go to school or we go to school.
  • These all are present indefinite tense. Because we do not know about the exact action that when it took place. They go to school but we do not know when and where they go. So now it is clear it is an indefinite tense that does not show the exact and true action of work in the present form.

NOTE

Use es of s with the first form of the verb in Present Indefinite tense. without using your tense will be incorrect. so be careful. The following rule can be taken into consideration.

This First Person is ( I & We) so do not use es or s with verbs in these persons. Always use the first form

Now the second person is (you) you cannot use es or e with a verb in these persons. Just use the first form of the verb

Lastly, the Third person includes He/she it and They. Do not use es with the verb in these persons

Indefinite Tense in Past form= Past indefinite

Now the same tense we will in the past form of indefinite tense. Action has been taken but we do not know where and when it took. we use the second form of the verb in this tense. for example

  • He went to school
  • She cooked
  • She watched the movie
  • They went to school

NOTE

You have to just place the sconed form of the verb and do not use the first form in the past indefinite tense.

Indefinite Tense in Future form= Future indefinite

Now in the last part of this sentence, we will use future form. In the future form of this tense, we shall use will and shall.

For example. Continue with the above-mentioned examples

  • He will go to school, He will not go to school, will he go to school
  • She will cook, He will not coll, Will she cook
  • She will watch the movie, She will not watch the movie
  • They will go to school, They will not go to school.

NOTE

Please do not use the add es or e in present future tense with its first form, You just place will before the verb and the verb form remain the same without any change.

Conclusion

To sum up we concluded that in the present indefinite can be used in different periods i.e in Present Future and past. It depends upon you which form of tense you want to write.
